SOMETHING MY GIRLS MADE

My girls went thrift store shopping. They found this nail kit project and decided to get it for something to do. All the beautiful and wonderful snow they are getting - they needed something to do inside. It took 320 nails to make it. It came out really well I thought. I have never seen anything like this before. On the package it says it was from the 70's. LOL.........they wasn't on the earth then. But hey, I think they did a fantastic job and thought I would share it with you. So the top photo is the completed results..........

The below photo is all the nails hammered in they took a side ways photo. Isn't it cool.......
This was in the beginning when the just got the nails in and no paint yet. I was amazed at the ending results.

Girls, you did a fantastic job. You all going to go into the nail hammering design business!!!
I love you....................Mom

HE CAN COOK

Our friend Pauly has always told me and Jim he cooks and cooks good, well we celebrated Christmas with him on Christmas Eve Day. And man ole man, he can cook, so that is why I scrapbooked this page. Notice the little man in the upper right hand corner, it is something from Jolee's, he had tan mustache, eyebrows and hair, I just took a permanent marker and colored them black like Paul's. And the drill that he has in his other hand is what else Pauly does, handyman work. So how fitting was that for this page. This crock pot wonder he made was sauerkaut, polish sausage, kielbosa and italian sausage. Then he mixes alot of "special" ingredients in it and WAAA LAHH......it is something Dutch. He is 1/2 Dutch. I tasted everything, but the sauerkraut, not into that, sorry. But the meat was outstanding......Enjoy!!!!!

CHRISTMAS-2008

This page I created today - is me and my hubby standing in front of the Christmas tree. Believe it or not it is the only picture that I have. LOL.....we are usually the picture taker's. So this is the only one that I had to scrapbook. My hair looks like I just came in from a wind storm and he is looking at me. Oh well, it's us. All the lettering was cut out using the slice machine and the paper again is brazzill.........Enjoy!!

P..S. I made the border around our picture out of the left over cardstock I used to cut the lettering out of just to make it have some bling. Sorry the picture looks yellow, I don't know what happen to my camera.

I'VE BEEN BUSY

I just wanted to post on top of all what I have done in the last couple of days. When you go down and look at the scrapbook pages that I have been doing, you might have to click on the older post button, because I think I have done 10 page the last two days, but I want you to look at all of them, and not just what is on this first page. And once again, please tell me what you think.

HAPPY 7TH ANNIVERSARY

This is a page I whipped together today (Monday 1/12/09). It was our 7th Wedding Anniversary. We always go to Chili's on our anniversary and on the day of our Wedding that is where we went. We love eating there and so when a special day comes up that is where we go out. I used once again brazzil paper for background and lettering. Using my Slice to cute the lettters out. Then I used that white pen just to highlight it some and to do my journaling.
Enjoy, and please let me know what you think.

MY B-DAY 2008

My last birthday was in August, 2008. Our friend Paul worked for a company that was on television all the time. He surprised me and sang me Happy Birthday on TV while they were broadcasting live. I was so excited and it made me feel really good. All the cut out letters are from the Slice and the pictures of course I cut out.

I once again used brazzil paper for the background and the lettering.

Enjoy, and let me know what you think?
